Who Are We?
The Western Australia Thyroid Support Group was established in 2005 and has been operating as a
sub-group of Thyroid Australia, based in Melbourne. It consists of members of Thyroid Australia who have
experienced health issues with their thyroid and wish to assist and support other Western Australians by
providing local knowledge and information obtained through individual experiences and with information
from Thyroid Australia.
The Group aims to empower those individuals who wish to manage their thyroid condition effectively and
promote awareness of complementary treatments and therapies, that may assist the overall well being of
a person.
Meetings and regular information sessions are held throughout Perth. By selecting the appropriate links
on the side bar you can display current meeting dates and locations, upcoming guest speakers and also
follow the journey of some of our members with "their Thyroid story".
