Thyroid WA Support Group Inc.,incorporated on the 12th August 2011
As a "not-for-profit" group, we are also registered by the tax office for tax concession status for donations.

We are currently redesigning the website so that it will contain current information regarding thyroid conditions.
It will also allow enquiries and feedback to be made via the website.

Thyroid UK is a very active support group in the UK and have the respect of the health system and the medical
profession. We are very pleased with their support and association.
Please note that during the redevelopment of the support group, Thyroid WA Support Group Inc, continues to
provide our usual support services to thyroid sufferers & their families.
Currently we are actively pursuing various projects to enhance our existing support services.

- Educational seminars around Perth on a regular basis
- Produce a regular newsletter based on the latest scientific research
- Liaise with the medical profession
- Hold open forums where patients can share their stories and ask questions
- Advocate for the rights of thyroid sufferers
- Fundraise and seek government funding for education and research
